A picture titled ‘We are Europe’ has been shared more than 11,000 times on social media. It shows how different hospital workers in Homerton hospital form the backbone of the NHS.
The workers who all hail from different European countries include: three scrub nurses, a radiographer, an anaesthetist, a consultant urologist, and a urology specialist registrar. Their countries of origin include: Britain, Spain, Ireland and Greek, and they have shown that they stand up for working together, and for the good of the society and country.
Junaid Masoo, a British Pakistani, said, ‘’Today we have been hard at work improving people’s lives! This is what our friends from Europe do for the NHS.’
‘Let’s speak out for working together and not being a divided society. Immigration has been the backbone of the NHS we all love and cherish, and is good for our society and country!!’
